Speaking on BBC Radio 2, Dennis explained: “One thing I’m really proud of is that I know when to leave and I don’t like to take advantage.

“I’ve always tried to keep up with what I usually do in life. Now as a mom I feel like I’m a role model and I need to set an example.”
Dennis also talks about how the split influenced his new autobiography, A Beat of Me: From Basildon to Broadway. Speaking on The One Show on March 16, the star admitted that he had made the difficult decision to rewrite the “raw” final chapter in the wake of his book pull and breakup.”I think it was the hardest for me,” he told hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas. “But the book was supposed to come out last November and at the time when it was supposed to come out I knew what was going on and I had to make a decision.”
He admits: “I felt I could not write an autobiography without being open and honest about my feelings … I felt I needed to explain a few things.”
