Philadelphia Gulls singles season record that could be broken in 2021 ,Back on March 29, 1977, the NFL voted to extend the league regular season from 14 to 16 games, beginning within the 1978 campaign.

The league went 44 years between adding regular-season games, but back in March, the league officially adopted a 17-game regular season, beginning this upcoming 2021 season.

Teams and fans are focused on the expanded playoffs and enhanced opportunity to succeed in the Super Bowl, but what about the single-season records that would fall round the league.

Philadelphia Whether it’s the NFL’s single-season records or the respective teams, another game will put pressure on several records that have stood for many years .

Philadelphia Here are seven Eagles single-season records that would be broken 2021.

1. Passing Yards 4,039 (Carson Wentz 2019)

Carson Wentz broke Donovan McNabb’s single-season record during his historic 2019 run and also became the primary Eagles quarterback in franchise history to pass for over 4,000 yards.

Hurts would wish to average 237 passing yards per game to hit the 4,040 mark in 17 games.

2. Passing Touchdowns 33 (Carson Wentz 2017)

Philadelphia Ertz shattered Jason Witten’s mark back in 2018, and Dallas Goedert presents the simplest opportunity in 2021. DeVonta Smith may be a target monster, but as a rookie, Goedert will get the majority of the looks.

Goedert would wish to average 6.8 receptions per game to interrupt the mark.

4. Sacks 21.0 (Reggie White 1987)

The Eagles haven’t had a player approach White’s 21 since Jason Babin logged 18 back in 2011.

Sweat is that the youngest of the veteran pass rushers and therefore the one that would approach White’s mark with a magical season.

In a rotational role, Sweat would wish to average 1.2 sacks per game to interrupt the mark.

5. Rushing yards 1,607 (LeSean McCoy 2013)

Sanders hasn’t rushed for 900 yards during a season during his two seasons within the NFL, but he’s explosive enough, and with added carries and specialise in the run , he could push McCoy’s 2013 record.

Philadelphia Sanders would wish to average 94.5 yards per game to interrupt Shady’s record.

Before Asante Samuels in 2009 (9), the Eagles had Eric Allen in 1989 (8) and that’s really been it with regard to ballhawks over the past 30 years. Anthony Harris may be a unique talent and even with 17 games, he’d need to keep a historic pace to interrupt the record at 0.6 interceptions per game rate.

7. Rushing touchdowns 17 (LeSean McCoy 2011)

Sanders is that the Eagles big-play threat at back , and a touchdown per game pace would be difficult to stay up in today’s NFL.
